Jared Wiley is ready to learn under Travis Kelce

After a long wait since drafting BYU offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia in the second round, the Kansas City Chiefs started their portion of the final day of the 2024 NFL Draft by taking TCU tight end Jared Wiley with the 131st selection.

Speaking to local media shortly after, Wiley expressed excitement at the chance to play with Travis Kelce, the league’s best at his position. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid will also be nice bonuses.

“I really felt like there’s no better place that I could be than Kansas City,” Wiley declared, “getting to learn behind Travis Kelce.
